Get Ready to Take Charge
- Be precise and willing to investigate whatever comes your way. Email marketing is constantly evolving and changing; therefore, this position requires a scrupulous approach. Utilize various reports, from postmasters to custom-made Looker analytics. A key requirement for this position is an investigative mindset.
- Take initiative. If you feel something needs tweaking or adjustment, take action. Just ensure all your assumptions are backed by tests.
- Stay calm. Email marketing requires patience and time. Requests from Support, Product, or other Teams come in constantly. You should always be ready to adjust your schedule, time, and priorities on the go. When issues arise, be prepared to tackle them head-on, but don't forget to keep a cool head.
We Expect You To
- At least 2 years of experience in Email Marketing. We're open to talking to B2B and B2C sales professionals as well, but a fundamental understanding of how email works is crucial.
- Technical skills: Experience with at least one of these ESPs is required: Klaviyo, MailChimp, MailerLite, Omnisend, ActiveCampaign, Mixmax.
- Analytics: We're all about data. You may not need extensive experience in this field, but you will be required to keep an eye on multiple reports. We expect you to learn quickly.
- Efficiency: More hours do not necessarily translate to better work. Our deadlines are challenging, so being quick is a significant advantage for us.
- Team spirit: Be communicative, open to ideas, and willing to listen to your team and others. Nothing can be accomplished without communication. It's crucial for us to be on the same page here.
